Lawnscaping Blog Hop, Inspired by the color Yellow

Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U! Today is the Lawnscaping challenge monthly blog hop, sponsored by Ink Road, and we are inspired by the color yellow!

I have to be honest and say, that I have never work with that much yellow, but yellow is a happy color you could use for happy occasions, such as a wedding, I am featuring the Lawn Fawn "happy wedding" stamp and coordinated die set, here is my card, all the supplies are listed and linked below, I hope you'll enjoy it, and have a wonderful weekend!

I used a stencil to ink my rays, I colored the wedding cake using very subtle colors, and I place my card panel on a Lawn Fawn "Fawndamental" "sunflower" note card

I added glossy accents to the cake platter to make it look like glass and adhere all the elements using foam adhesive

Halloween Tags With Water Colored Background

Hello everybody, welcome back to the Crafty Time 4U! This week have been very hectic, with all the back to school, and other end of the summer projects. I'm so not ready for the summer to be over, but we have to start working on our fall and Halloween projects, so today I want to share with you some Halloween tags that I created for the Marker POP Blog, using the "Bootastic" stamp set by Mama Elephant, some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and Copic Markers. Let me show you the tags, and I will tell you a little bit more about them.

DSC_7799I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to create a water color wash for the background of the tags, and I stamped and color my images using Copic Markers.

DSC_7801I heat embossed the sentiment on the coordinated color card stock, using white embossing powder, I adhered all the die cut images using foam adhesive, finally I thread some bakers' twine through the tags.

I didn't use any specific method to make those backgrounds, I just played with the markers, I added water with a brush and dried with a heat gun, I like using the heat gun, because you can control the water color wash and making it  go where you wanted it to go, however, air dry can add some really cool effects too.
I hope you enjoyed these tags, have a lovely day!

Hang In There Friend!

Hello, everybody! Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U, last Saturday I was at the Marker POP blog, sharing a card that I made, using the new "Going Places" stamps set by Wplus9, this is my first Wplus9 stamp and die set, but it won't be my last, I love it! such cute and soft images, I enjoyed making this card, let me show you and I will tell you a little bit more about it.
DSC_7760First, I created a watercolor washed background using Zig clear water colors real brush markers, for this background I used the No. 031 Cobalt blue, and the No. 042 Turquoise green. I colored all the diecut images with Copic markers using soft colors ( listed below).
DSC_7765I adhered all the die cut images using foam adhesive, I also used some glossy accents on the hot air balloon, I stamp the sentiment using Versafine Onyx black ink, and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins as finishing touches.
DSC_7766I used some pink twine to for the bunny to hang on to the bear up in the hot air balloon, and I adhered the card panel to a white card base made of Bazzill Marshmallow card shoppe cardstock.
Copic Markers that I used: E21, E23, E 25, RV11, RV13, Y11, Y13, BG11, BG13, C1, C3, R20.
