Birthday Card At the Marker POP Blog

Hello everybody, welcome back to Crafty Time 4U! I want to apologize for being a little absence from my blog this week, my husband and I are planning a road trip, so I want to make sure I have all the July DT's post and cards ready for you, so I had spent quite a few time at my craft room the last few days.
Today I'm at the Marker POP sharing with you this birthday card using the Lawn Fawn "Party Animal" stamps and dies.
I wanted to make a really soft card that would work for a little girl, since we have a girl's birthday party to go this coming weekend.
I also used some of the new "stitched border dies from Lawn Fawn, they don't make any cut, they just emboss a nice stitched line, and I used some of the new dye inks.
Let me show you this card and I will tell you a little bit more about it.

As always all the supplies are listed and linked below

DSC_7516I kept all the coloring really soft and I placed my critter off to the right side. I also limited my cross stitched border to the left bottom corner. I sometimes like to off set things and I also like to try different placements for my card's elements. It't that little imperfection that sometimes make the hand made cards special, right?

DSC_7513One fun thing about most Lawn Fawn sets is, that they are full of little images that would help you make cute backgrounds. The Party Animal stamp set is not the exception, it has cute little confetti to complement your party scenes. I did all the stamping with Lawn Fawn inks and I color all the images with Copic Markers. For the shading on the right bottom corner I used Peacock Feather Distress ink and kept it really soft.
Copic Marker I used: E21, E23, E25, R20, BG11, BG23, RV11, RV13, Y11, Y13

I hope you'll enjoy this and that you'll try some of these adorable Lawn Fawn products.
