Lawnscaping Challenge No. 112 - Embossing

Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U! I hope you had a lovely weekend.
Today we start a new Lawnscaping Challenge sponsor by the awesome Lawn Fawn. and the theme for this Lawnscaping Challenge No. 112 is, embossing, any kink of embossing, dry, heat embossing, embossing paste, embossing powder of any kind, you could even use dies or stencil to emboss.
We want to see your projects. To inspired you, I created a card using translucent embossing paste, I also used tone on tone heat embossing, let me show you the card, and I'll be telling you a little bit more about it.

I used a die that I have from SSS to created my own stencil, which I used to apply the clear paste, to create the effect of air bubbles under the water. For my background I used Zig Clean Color real water color brush pens

I used images from the "Fintastic" and the "you're so jelly" stamp sets by Lawn Fawn, and colored the images with Copic Markers

For the sentiment, I used the "Bannerific" stamps and coordinated die also from Lawn Fawn and i sued white embossing powder to emboss the banner, I didn't want any other color because I wanted the water with the fish be the start of the show.

I hope you enjoyed this card, have a lovely week, all the supplies are listed and linked below.

Back to School Layout, Using Lawn Fawn

Hello everybody! Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U! I am sharing a kind of project  you don't see very often here at my blog. When I started paper crafting, my first intentions were to scrapboo, but I quickly fell in love with card making, however, once in a while, usually for Christmas I make a layout or two.
The Marker POP blog is hosting a back to school challenge, to inspired you to enter, I created this back to school theme layout, using Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.
I used multiple sets and multiples images, but please don't let this overwhelm you, because you can used colored images that you already have, or color them over time, and all you have to do is put them together, just the way you liked them!

I did not follow a particular sketch, I just placed on a fun and colorful way all over the layout.

I die cut the little arrows and starts from the Lawn Cuts  "Journaling card" die set by Lawn Fawn and fill them in with glossy accents to created my own enamel elements!

Finally as a mat, I used a calendar page that I have but you can find those from many scrapbook paper companies.

I hope you'd enjoyed this layout and that you find colored images and give it a try!

You can also enter your back to school projects to the Lawnscaping challenge blog, where we're having back to school themed challenge as well.

Monkeys Encouragement Card + Giveaway Winners

Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U! I hope you had a great week!

My son and I would love to have a monkey as a pet, I explained him how hard that would be, and also explained him how difficult our lives already are just with a puppy, we can't be gone for very long, and if we have to be gone like on vacation, we have to make especial arrangements for our pup. Any how, I found this adorable stamp set named "Willy and friends" by Waffle Flower Crafts is the closest we will ever come to have a monkey, I showed the card to my son, and told him, "look we have some monkeys now"
But the same way I will love to have a monkey, I love this stamp set! I am totally in love with the look of these monkeys, OMG!
Here is the card that I made, I hope you'll enjoy it!
Check the Marker POP blog for an extra picture of this card
I hope you'll have a great weekend!

I used some masking to created this little scene, for this encouragement card and colored the monkeys using some Copic Markers ( E51, E53, E55) (E11, E13, E15)  The sentiment at the bottom is from the "Doyly circle stamp set," also by Waffle Flower Crafts
