Lawnscaping Challenge, New Technique: Foil

Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U! I hope you had a blessed Memorial Day Weekend! I appreciated those who selfless gave their life for others!
Lawnscaping Challenge No. 106 is about trying a new technique.
The technique I tried was foil. I tried the different application, with the exception of toner print, and my favorite way was the "Score Tape" sticky sheets.
Let's look at the card that I created using the the foil technique.

I cut stripes of the adhesive sheets (about 3/8") and placed them on diagonal, cut the excess off and applied the Deco-Foil using my fingers to apply pressure.

I adhered part of the score tape sheet on a piece of cardstock and diecut my frame, them I applied foil, again using just my fingers to apply pressure. I stamped another frame from white cardstock and cut just the center part to stamp the sentiment.

Finally I stamped and die cut some flowers from the Penelope's blossoms and adhere them using Foam adhesive and Tombow liquid glue.
I place all of my elements on a 5.5 x 4.25 white card base, and added some enamel dots.

If you want my opinion or review of the foil technique, please let me know in the comment section!
Have a wonderful week!

    1. Thanks for stopping by Valerie, the easiest way I found was the adhesive sheets, I got a pretty good laminator, but the embossing powder or the bond sheets didn't work for me!

  5. This is lovely Heidi! The gold foil really pops!! I didn't realize you could use foil with just the pressure of your fingers , all the techniques I've seen with it has been using a laminater or something, so i haven't bothered but good to know! Now i may have to try it! Thanks for sharing!:)

  6. Thanks Shannon, You have to use the adhesive sheets, they are so sticky, it only takes your finger to process it, you could use your bone folder, but then, it is not so smooth!
