Colorful Saturday at Marker POP

Welcome back to  Crafty Time for you and a new Marker POP Colorful Saturday!
Before we dig into today's project , I want to say thanks to all you, who came Saturday March 7th,  and left kind comments for my first post as a Marker POP designer. I read everyone of them and I was so thrilled that you liked the card that I shared.

The winner of the Lawn Fawn "Critters in the Jungle" stamp set was,

Congrats Dana!

Today I am bringing you a card that I created using one of the recent sets from Mama Elephant, available the Marker POP" Bear Hugs" I also used lots of distress ink and masking. I hope you'll like this card, and that you get inspired to create with masks, distress inks, and Copics.
All the supplies are linked bellow.

First I cut a circle on masking paper using a circle die, I placed the negative space and I created the sun, with the blending tool and some distress inks. I removed the mask, and cover the sun with a circle mask. I used my paper tripper to cut different stripes of masking paper, also I cut a wavy mask using scissors, then I tore some masking paper to make the shore line. And I blended my sunset background as well as the sand.

What I like about distress inks, is that there is not right or wrong, just play with then and blend along! The seagulls are  from the  "Life is Good" stamp set by Lawn Fawn. The "I love you" is from the "Purrfect pair" stamp set by Mama Elephant.
