Hey there, it's Friday! Wednesday highlights: You Rock This Town Card

I recently became acquaint with some beautiful stamps and dies, if you know me well; surely you saw it coming, because they fit my style of stamping and crafting! Yeah, I am talking about Mama Elephant!  In my previous post I created two cards using the adorable “Bootastic stamp set. I thought they won’t be releasing a stamp any cuter than that. Well I was sort of wrong, because they just released “Alpine Carolers” and that one, is just as cute, so stay tune because I already ordered it and I will be making something with it soon!
Mean while enjoy this card that I created using two stamp sets from Mama Elephant The "Central Park" and the "Rewind" I hope you continue enjoying this week  and I'll see you next time!

"World Card Making Day"

Hey folks, Heidi here today celebrating "World Card Making Day" with "Paper Craft Magazine" After a big long break from blogging!
When my college classes start I really have to slow down on blogging for time reasons, I am not really a good English writer so blog posts take some good deal of time from me. However, I have not taken much time off from paper crafting; in fact I think I had paper craft a lot more lately. Only I have been using Flickr to post my cards and crafts. So if you don't follow me on Flickr, please go on and follow me so you can see all my cards and crafts! Heidi's Flickr As soon as I get caught up with work, I will post all my cards and supplies on my blog and I will update a link to it on Flickr. For today I am brining you two cards using the cute Boo-Tastic stamp set by Mama Elephant! (That is for this morning, I am working on something cute for this afternoon, even though they're not cards)

For this card I took a piece of purple "Papertrey Ink" cardstock and folded it to standard size card 5 1/2 x 4 3/4, I stamp the stars background with Versa Mark ink, using the "Starry backgrounds stamp by Lawn Fawn. Then I cut a piece of black ("My Favorite Things") cardstock 2 x 5 1/2 and punched three squares with a 1 1/4 punch. I adhered a smaller piece of white cardstock directly on the card base. I also use "Broken China" distressing ink on this white piece. Then I placed the vampire, the witch and mommy die cut stamped pieces, (From the "Boo-Tastic" stamp set by "Mama Elephant") which I previously colored with "Copic" markers. I stamped and embossed with black embossing powder, the "You're Boo-Tastic!" sentiment from the stamp set with the same name, from "Mama Elephant" on orange cardstock Finally I stamped and die-cut the spider and poped it with foam adhesive, and trace a white dash line for the spider to hang on!

For this card I used the ‘Stitched rectangles stackables” by Lawn Fawn to cut my card base (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) them I cut a piece of light blue cardstock and stamped the bat from the "Boo-Tastic stamp set using "Versa Mark" ink, forming a pattern, and also distress the piece using Vintage Photo distress ink. I stamped and die cut the Polaroid photo frame from the "Say Cheese" stamp set by Lawn Fawn and distressed with Vintage Photo distress ink. I stamped the "Peek-a-boo” sentiment from the "Boo-Tastic" stamp set from Mama Elephant on the Polaroid frame. Then I took a piece of white cardstock and distressed it using the "Chipped Sapphire" distress ink, and stamp the city silhouette from the "Central Park" stamp set by Mama Elephant and the circular moon. I used a little of yellow distressing to reflect the light. I stamped, color, and die cut the princess and the mommy from the “Boo-Tastic” stamp set from Mama Elephant and drew a surprised mouth on the princess since she is been photo bombed by the mommy. I placed them behind the frame and cut off the excess. I finally adhere all of this directly on to the light blue piece, which, I poped with foam adhesive on to my purple card base.

Anything goes!
