Simon Says Stamps Sentimental Circles Shaker Card

Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U, I hope your week is going smooth, mine, not so much, I got a touch of flu, however I can't afford to get sick right now I have too much going on, crafting, organization and clean up at my house and craft room, and also getting ready to go on vacation with my family.
Any how, I wanted to share with you this card that I made using a combination of new and not so new Simon Says Stamp.
I used the stitched circle die, the "Sentimental circle stamp set from the most recent release, "Falling for you", the cat from the "Furry cat and box" stamp set, the Envelope sentiments stamp set, and the small birthday hat from the "Hats off you" stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
I hope you'll enjoy this card and get inspired to try some shaker cards.

I'm not an expert on shaker cards by any means, but with some some tips that my crafty friend Mayra from mayradesigns.blogspot.com gave me, this card came really easy! The real trick is on the adhesive, I think, other than that no science.
I am absolutely in love with the Simon Says Stamp stitched circle dies. I can't recommend them enough, if you want stitched dies.
I rarely embellish the inside of cards, if you want to see pretty insides, you need to visit my crafty  friend Tanya Adams, from Studio 3080 she does some beautiful incard designs. However I decided to add some sentiment to the inside and some sequins.

Lawnscaping Challenge, New Technique: Foil

Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U! I hope you had a blessed Memorial Day Weekend! I appreciated those who selfless gave their life for others!
Lawnscaping Challenge No. 106 is about trying a new technique.
The technique I tried was foil. I tried the different application, with the exception of toner print, and my favorite way was the "Score Tape" sticky sheets.
Let's look at the card that I created using the the foil technique.

I cut stripes of the adhesive sheets (about 3/8") and placed them on diagonal, cut the excess off and applied the Deco-Foil using my fingers to apply pressure.

I adhered part of the score tape sheet on a piece of cardstock and diecut my frame, them I applied foil, again using just my fingers to apply pressure. I stamped another frame from white cardstock and cut just the center part to stamp the sentiment.

Finally I stamped and die cut some flowers from the Penelope's blossoms and adhere them using Foam adhesive and Tombow liquid glue.
I place all of my elements on a 5.5 x 4.25 white card base, and added some enamel dots.

If you want my opinion or review of the foil technique, please let me know in the comment section!
Have a wonderful week!

Smile, Laugh, and Giggle With ME Photo Bomb Set

Welcome back to Crafty Time 4U, I hope your weekend was productive and fun!

I was at the Marker POPblog on Saturday with a Colorful Saturday post and today, I am sharing the same card here at my blog for those of you that visit over here!
I used the new set by Mama Elephant called "Photo Bomb" this adorable stamp set coordinates with the Mama Elephant Creative Cuts "Polaroid Fun"
I used a lot of different Copic Markers, however, the images in this set are small, so there is not need for much of blending.
I have all the colors listed, as well as all the supplies linked bellow
I hope you'll enjoy this card and get inspired to give this set a try!

I wanted to go for a cork board look, as if the pictures were pinned to the board, so I added some adhesive cork with some enamel dots to simulate the pins.

I sponge some "Vintage photo Distress Ink"on the edges of the Polaroids to give them a little more character and dimension

I also stamped the sentiment and used the "Peacock Feathers Distress Marker to fill in the letters on the sentiment, to match the blue patterned paper to the left of the card. If you don't' have the peacock feather distress marker, smudge the ink pad on an acrylic block and use a blender pen. I went over real quick because this is not water color cardstock.

Copic Markers that I used: B06, BG13,  BG53, BG11, C5, C7, E000, E00, E11, E13, E21, E43, E44, E47, E49, E50, E51, E53, R27, RV11, RV13, W1, W3 W4, Y11, Y13, Y21, YR24  100
