Holiday Craft Series Day 18 Holiday Layout

OMG! this post is came so late, I had technical difficulties with my picture, lol!
Well, really it wasn't something to laugh about, I had not made a scrapbook page in a long time, in fact to be more precised, since the last holiday craft series. Scrapbooking was my first intention  when I started paper-crafting, but it when by the side, when I discovered card making. I have so many pictures of my son when he was little, that I want to scrap, and so little time.
Anyway photographing this page wasn't that easy I really didn't have a good place to do it. I usually do this outside, but it is too cold for that. I hope you don't mind the picture and enjoy my layout!
I just purchased the fabulous "Large circle stackables" (last order of the year, I promise you!) I also have some images from the "milk and cookies" stamp set, and some  printed pictures of my son, and I thought, that would make a pretty layout! So here it is and I hope you like it, because the picture doesn't do it justice!

Updated picture as 12/18/2014

I had made some little changes to my layout and I photographed again with different lighting and background,  let me know if you like it!

Holiday Craft series Day 15 - The magic of paper crafting!

Welcome to day fifteen of my holiday craft series! For today I don't have a card of mine to share with you, what I want to share today is rather a card that I received in the mail yesterday! It is a beautiful card and the picture doesn't do it any justice.
I want to take this opportunity to talk a little bit about magic of paper crafting. I live out in the country in a very small community, until I was 26 years old I was used to to a big city, so since I moved here I always felt too lonely and missing my friends and family. But this year thanks to the magic of paper crafting I had made new friends and even in the distance, these friends are truly because we share one thing in common: the love for paper crafting. They're not here to judge if you are right or wrong, they here to share and to enjoy the creativity of each other. I love that paper crafting have take me here! I hope I can keep making crafty friends and to be crafty friend for many others.

This card was sent to me by Esther Rovira from Arcadiadepapel blog, all the way from Spain
Thanks a lot Esther, I hope you have a great holiday with your family and friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Craft Series Day 13

Hey there, welcome to day thirteen! I've been playing with the "stitched snowflakes" and the "goodie bag" dies, by Lawn Fawn, and I love what you can created with the two together. Simple and elegant projects, that everyone would love.
If you saw my post for yesterday, these baggies and my card look pretty much the same, I have to tell you that, these baggies were inspired by "Frozen" and that they also inspired the card. This Lawnscaping challenge is about white on white and, I am mostly about color and whimsical designs, white is elegant and calm, but as I said yesterday, I came back from my trip just thinking about the beauty of the snow, winter, and snowflakes. So after I made the white baggie, I thought: this, would make a cute card for the current Lawnscaping Challenge.
I think this year more people will get a small gift from me, thanks to the "Lawn Fawn goodie bag." I hope you'll like them and get inspired to make bunches of them!

Goodie bag die, stitched snowflakes die, 12x12 Snow day patterned paper "peacoat," Snow day stamp set, all by Lawn Fawn. Aqua gems or rhinestones, silver metallic paper, white cardstok, aqua cardstock, dark cherry cardstock, foam adhesive, embossing paste, strong double side adhesive.

Holiday Craft Series Day 10 and winners

Hi, everybody! Welcome to day ten of my holiday craft series, I hope you had a great weekend, and if you traveled I hope you'll have safe return.
For today's post I have very fun card, it was very fun to created, and it's not as hard as it looks.
When you start die cutting the little branches you'll be cutting about four at the time so you'll have all the branches cut pretty quickly. Let's take a look at today's card, the list of supplies is below with some more details.
But first let me announce the winners of the giveaway:
I am so thankful for the lovely ladies who support me on this crafting adventure and I want to let everyone of you, that I do support you all the way as well:

 Get well soon- Tanya/Nonna
Hedgehugs love- Kendra Hernandez

congrats and please email me at craftytime4u@gmail.com with your mailing address. Thanks so much!

I stamped different branches from the Deck the halls stamp set on green papers from the snow day collection and the peace joy love collection by Lawn Fawn, and die cut them, using the Deck the halls coordinated dies.
There are different sizes of the branches, you will used them all, and trim them as need it. I also stamp the pine cones from the same set using some brown die ink on the doted brown paper from the sweater weather collection, also by Lawn Fawn.
I die cut a ring using craft foam. I like to use craft foam instead on foam adhesive because you can work in a cleaner way, without the mess. I adhere the little branches using Multi-mat-medium adhesive. (I think glossy accents would work as well.)
I cut a little bow using the little bow die by Mama Elephant.
I also stamp and embossed the sentiment from the Snow Day stamp set by Lawn Fawn, using gold embossing powder.
I adhere my wreath on a piece of wood grain white cardstok by SSS. and place my panel on top of  red "beani" paper from the 12x12 snow day collection, by Lawn Fawn.
I hope you'll like it!

Note: this post was meant to be for Monday, I was out of town and my phone broke, it was schedule but I never clicked on publish, so I couldn't take care of that. So sorry!
