Advent Holiday Craft Series Day 6: Snow Day lay out

Have you ever hoarded papers pads or paper collections? I am sure the answer is yes! Unfortunately I had and I sometimes feel ashamed of it. This year with the Advent Holiday Craft series as I was looking through out my paper I decided that the best way to keep a paper collection forever is to scrap it on pictures you love, otherwise you will have the paper collection for ever but you won't enjoy them. So get them out and start crafting and enjoy them for years to come, and that is precisely what I am trying to do throughout this holiday craft series. I am trying to use new collections and some of the old collections that I have been hoarding. So for today I have quick layout with one of this collections. I hope that you'll enjoy it!

Supplies:
Pattern paper: Martha Stewart Holidays paper pad ( I think this pad is from 2011)
Card stock: Bazzil
Twine: Pea pod by The Twinery
Alpha Stickers: Velvet Alphabet
White gel pen: Signo by Uniball
Adhesive: Tombow Stamp Roller

Thanks to everyone who stops by!

Advent Holiday Craft Series Day 3 - A Gift for you, gift card holder

The Internet works on mysterious ways, last night Pinterest blocked 3 out of my 5 pictures of day two of my holiday craft series. I have no idea how that happen but it said that the pin took people to a sort of spam web site. I am really sorry, however I don't understand how this two got connected. This really bothers me, It discourage me to keep going with this blogging. I have no idea why people do that but I will find out what to do to prevent it from happening again. I took care of by removing the pin buttons that were having trouble. Anyway to happy things: Today's post.
Gift cards have become a popular because you at the end your love ones will get exactly what they want. You won't go wrong with gift cards! If you buy a gift card the store may give you a small envelope or holder to put it on, however, you can make your gift card more personal and especial by creating a unique gift card holder.
I created one that I hope you'll enjoy it!
How do I learn to make this cute packets? Check out this Youtube video by Jen Tinline, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5HOvAelH3k&list=FLV8XCOj9_UnNhKoXjZQ0TjA&index=4 It has detailed instructions and measurements. It's great!
Embellishing this gift card holders is entirely up to you! and that is what I really love about them. So have fun doing it and I hope you'll enjoy this post.

Welcome to day two of the Advent Holiday Craft Series. I am on the final days of my college classes so  I have been very busy today, therefore I am late posting day two of the Advent Holiday Craft Series. (I do apologize about that) I left real early for college campus this morning and also took care of Thanksgiving shopping on my way back. (not fun)
I created this banner using the Very Merry Collection by October Afternoon. I cut the letters with the Cricut Expression and use some sequins, Glossy Accents and Wink of Stella Brush pen to give the Banner some sparkle. I had so much fun creating this banner. I love using one collection it makes things simpler and everything coordinates nicely. Very Merry is a very cute collection with beautiful colors, so it was very easy to feel inspired.

Imaginisce Monthly Challenge: Kenny, we are so thankful - thankful for you.

Hey is me again! I said on Friday that I was done with fall crafting! However, I have been hoarding this beautiful Happy Harvest Collection from Imaginisce for quite long time! As I was putting my fall collections away, I thought that the Imiginisce Monthly Challenge would be a great challenge to take on and to use some of these beautiful papers! (I had a hard time doing it because I love them!) The glossy accents, the cute whimsical images, the patterns and the vivid colors made me felt in love with this collection the first time I saw it!http://www.imaginisceblog.com/2013/11/november-monthly-challenge-and-octobers.html
The green patterned paper, also from Imaginice, is from a different collection. It is called "Pick From The Patch" and it complements perfectly The Happy Harvest Collection
Anyhow, this is the layout I created! I hope you'll enjoy it!

All supplies from Imaginice otherwise noted:
Button: Stampin Up
Card stock: Bazzil
Alpha Stickers: Doodlebug Designs - The Paper Studio
Washi tape: Doodlebug Designs

Remember that tomorrow is the first day of my Advent Holiday craft Series.

Craft Attack Monday: (On Friday) Kenny I am so thankful for you!

This week has been crazy busy! I had my Craft Attack Monday almost ready, but I was unable to post it because I got really busy! We add a new member to our family. I had never thought having a puppy would be so much work! But he is adorable and well worth it! And my son is so happy and that is priceless. I have a cat but he is sort of my personal pet. He loves me and I love him but he is not very interactive with the rest of the family. One thing I can tell you: he is an amazing cat! He does not bother the puppy at all even though the puppy insists on playing with him.
Anyhow, here is the final Thanksgiving card for this season. I got a new stamp set similar to the scrabble game from Viva Las Vegas Stamp http://www.vlvstamps.com/. We are scrabble-holic in this house so you will be seen more scrabble projects made up with this stamp set. Next Monday my Advent Holiday Craft Series will start so please stay tune.

And here is the card for today! (I meant for last Monday)

Craft Attack Monday: Harvest Time - So Thankful

Hi! everybody! It is Craft Attack Monday so I am bringing you a Thankful card.
I was thinking this morning the amount of things I am thankful for, that I usually take for granted.
For Example this morning when I took my son to school, I thought of how thankful I was to have a garage.
I just jumped in my mini-van, started it and took my boy to school, without going through the painful cold and bitter wind that is blowing this morning here. I really did not think of things like that! So this morning I am really thankful to have a garage! We did not used to have one when we lived out in the farm. so we had to started our vehicles in advance before going to any place.
Any how, here is my card for today's Craft Attack Monday:

Supplies:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn
Patterned Paper: Imaginisce
Card stock: Papertrey Ink
Adhesive: Tombow

Thanks to everyone who stop by and remember to be thankful!
